普段無い事をさせていただけました。
little vintageを知るきっかけになったのは
以前、下北沢SHELTERでBimBamBoomがお世話になっていた熊本出身のスタッフちゃん。
彼女が東京にいる時から
古着の着こなしが上手だなぁと思ってた。
今は地元熊本に住んでいて
毎回熊本LIVEには足を運んでくれる。
そんな彼女に、前回7月熊本へ行った際
熊本でオススメの古着屋さんを教えてもらった。
熊本は古着屋さんが多くて
歩いてるだけで気になるお店がたくさんある。
彼女が何軒か教えてくれた中で
まずlittle vintageへ行ってみることに。
調べて訪れた先はショップでなく
リメイクのアトリエだった.....
間違えてしまったけどそれが良かった
オーナーさんと会えたのだ。
色々お話しし、お店へ同行して下さった。
リメイクはオリジナル商品の為だけでなく
オーダーも受けているそうで
聞くと、とあるミュージシャンの方もよく依頼されているそう。
私は高校生の時、古着に熱狂的だった。
雑誌で見てはGoogleマップなんぞない時代に
大阪や京都の路地を
ウロウロしてお店見つけて
ドキドキしてお店入って
宝物を探すようだった。
年々
宝物探しをできるような古着屋さんが
どんどん減ってくような寂しい気持ちはどこかにあった
little vintageは
高校生の気持ちに(笑)に戻させてくれた
気になった事が
価格設定が安い....珍しく。
やはりそこにもこだわりがあるようで。
服が大事にされなくなってく事に疑問を感じること
古着屋がオリジナルの新品を中心に販売する傾向が強くなる＝価格も上がる
古着一点一点を吟味して探す醍醐味を失いたく無い
など、強い想いを直接聞けた。
わたし自身
ほんの短期間だけどファッションの世界に身を置いた事があるのもあり
ファストファッション、オンライン
文化が変わってく中で感じていた事をハッキリ公言して行動されているlittle vintage
出逢えて良かったと思った。
熊本の震災があった時
本来ならまだ使えるものも、ついでに....処分されている光景をみて
リメイクへの姿勢がさらに変わったとお話しされていました。

自分に何ができるのか
でも結局何もできていなくてもどかしい自分と裏腹に
現地の方はこんなに強く、もう前に進み続けているのかとゆう事も目の当たりにして衝撃的でした。
今回LIVEでリメイクポンチョを衣装として着させていただきました。
リメイク故か、色んなパーツに遊び心もあったなぁ
今回このような機会をありがとうございました
音楽でないフィールドの方とこうやってお話を聞けたり関われる事はとっても刺激的を受ける。
やっている事は違えど想いは遠くないというか。
大事にします。
“NIPPON AVENTURE” is going on well.
After performing in 9 cities,1 day off in Tokyo.
I’ve been already impressed a lot through this AVENTURE.
Pick up 1 thing of them.
During we stayed in Kumamoto,we were on the radio,and collaborated with Vintage&remade clothing shop”little vintage”
Theses were the rare opportunities for us.
In Kumamoto city,there are many vintage shops which catch my eyes.
Ex staff of Shimokitazawa SHELTER lives in her hometown Kumamoto now.
I’d felt she coordinates used clothes well,so last time we visited there I asked her,”are there any vintage shops in Kumamoto that I should visit?”
And we visited one of her recommendations immediately,it was “little vintage”.
Where we got to was not vintage shop,but just their atelier for remaking.
I was crazy for used clothes when I was high school student.
It was like a treasure hunting for me to find used clothes.Even finding the shop I saw on magazines was.
I’ve felt this kind of feeling is decreasing year and year.But “little vintage” reminded me of my passion I felt when I was a high school student.
Very interesting thing is their price decision shows their strong will as they are authentic vintage shop.
The recent mainstream of used clothe shop is over half of merchandises are their originals.
It causes high price decision,losing pleasure of treasure hunting...they told me.I do agree with them!!
Although it was short time I was in the world of fashion,I have something of inexpressible feeling to fast fashions and really convenient online shopping.
It’s new culture,not negative but sometimes I miss something.But “little vintage”says clearly and keeps doing actions.
“When they saw many waste after the huge earthquake hit Kumamoto,there were many clothes still wearable.It must have been just opportunity to discard anything.After it, our spirit for remaking has completely changed”
The manager said.
I respect them.Thank you for collaborating with us this time!Their remade poncho was so comfortable and cool!
Though if it’s different way of expressing between us,the soul is not far each other.
